Our diverse recovery support groups address various pathways and needs.

No registration required – simply check the calendar and drop in!

  • AA (Our Finite Selves): An open Big Book meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous welcoming to all.

  • Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families (ACA): A Twelve-Step program of people who grew up in dysfunctional families.

  • Al-Anon: A Twelve-Step program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking.

  • Alcohólicos Anónimos (en Español): Alcohólicos Anónimos es una comunidad de hombres y mujeres que comparten su mutua experiencia, fortaleza y esperanza para resolver su problema común y ayudar a otros a recuperarse del alcoholismo.

  • All Pathways to Recovery: A topic discussion meeting that embraces all pathways to recovery. Welcoming to all who struggle with addiction, are affected by addiction and/or support the recovery lifestyle.

  • Coffee with a Coach: Enjoy a cup of coffee with one of our peer recovery coaches and learn more about what recovery coaching is.

  • Community Fridge Volunteering: Join us every Friday to clean the Community Fridge and Pantry in JP (located behind City Feed & Supply - 672 Centre St.) Sign up by talking to a staff member!

  • Community Meeting: Community Meetings are a time for members to bring up new ideas, discuss issues pertinent to the center, propose and vote on policies and procedures, etc.

  • Crafting with Kiera: Come join our Peer Volunteer Specialist, Kiera every second Friday of the month to be creative and mindful! Before we craft, we will also have a group meal. The best part is, you’ll have an adorable craft to take with you 😊

  • Creative Writing: A weekly creative writing group, no experience necessary! Exploring recovery and connection through writing; prompts provided.

  • Eating Disorders Anonymous (EDA): A Twelve-Step fellowship of individuals who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others to recover from their eating disorders.

  • Group Facilitation 101: New to facilitating peer support groups or want to brush up on your skills? Join us on the first Thursday of every month to learn the basics of running a peer group.

  • Medication-Assisted Recovery Anonymous (MARA): A support group of people who believe in the value of medication as a means of recovery.

  • Marijuana Anonymous (MA): A Twelve-Step program focused entirely on a shared problem with marijuana or cannabis addiction.

  • NA (Monday Afternoon Group): a Narcotics Anonymous meeting welcoming to all. This meeting is focused on the Guiding Principle Book.

  • Orientation & Oreos: Learn about what a Peer Recovery Support Center is and what we do at the JPRC.

  • Recovery Capital: A group to help people obtain and sustain recovery by understanding what recovery capital is and how to apply it to their own recovery.

  • Recovery Dharma: Offers a trauma-informed, empowered approach to recovery based on Buddhist principles. The program is peer led and non-theistic.

  • Refuge Recovery: Refuge Recovery is a Buddhist-oriented, systematic approach to treating and recovering from all forms of addiction.

  • Rise & Recover: Start your day off on a positive note! Join us every weekday morning for a daily reading and peer-led check in to support and motivate recovery.

  • Secular AA: An AA meeting that assures suffering alcoholics that they can find sobriety without having to accept anyone else's beliefs or deny their own. Non-religious AA.

  • SMART Recovery: An evidence-informed approach to overcoming addictive behaviors and leading a balanced life.

  • Wellness Walk: A weekly nature walk with Mike around the Arnold Arboretum, weather permitting, to promote recovery by connection with nature and exercise.

  • Yoga: A Phoenix Yoga class that is low to moderate intensity. This class includes flowing from one movement to the next, in addition to restorative postures and relaxation.

  • Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR): A program that connects the somatic approach of yoga with the cognitive approach of 12-step recovery.
